Partenariat stratégique Microtis et UP Luxembourg

Microtis, a Luxembourg-based developer of HR and payroll solutions, announces the signing of a partnership with UP Luxembourg to natively integrate the management of digital meal vouchers into its payroll software, Gesper Salaires.

Since the full entry into force of the dematerialised meal voucher regime in 2025, Luxembourg companies have had to adapt their administrative processes. While digitalisation has simplified usage for employees and merchants, it has also reinforced the need for seamless integration between benefit providers and payroll systems.

It is within this context that the agreement between Microtis and UP Luxembourg has been concluded.

Direct integration into the payroll process

The integration now allows companies using Gesper Salaires to:

  • automatically calculate meal voucher entitlements based on payroll data;
  • integrate the amounts directly into the monthly payroll process;
  • generate orders to the provider without intermediate exports;
  • ensure full traceability of transactions.

The objective is twofold: reduce administrative handling and ensure consistency between remuneration and fringe benefits.

According to a study published by UP Luxembourg, 80% of employees who do not currently receive meal vouchers would like to benefit from them, while 90% of current beneficiaries consider them a significant supplement to their income. In an increasingly competitive labour market, such benefits remain an important lever in HR policy.

A strategic positioning

For Microtis, this integration is part of a broader strategy aimed at strengthening the interoperability of its HR ecosystem. The company prioritises native integrations rather than relying on third-party modules, in order to minimise process disruptions and the multiplication of interfaces.

“The challenge is no longer simply the digitalisation of meal vouchers, but their full integration into the payroll cycle. Companies today expect coherent, automated processes that remain fully compliant with local requirements.” says Pascal Robert, CEOat Microtis.

For her part, Alicia Brun, Country Manager of UP Luxembourg, highlights that:

“The integration with Gesper Salaires responds to a growing demand from companies wishing to centralise the management of their employee benefits within a single system.”

The functionality will be rolled out to all Gesper Salaires clients, without any additional module, by the end of March 2026.
